Dear Sister Helen and Sister Barbara,
As you know, I spend three mornings a week (8:30-10:30) ministering to women at the sidewalk of local abortion clinics. While I have perhaps 20 seconds to talk to a young woman walking into Planned Parenthood, I spend hours each day, week after week, just a few feet a way from the clinic escorts, who act as the "welcoming committee", enthusiastically ushering women in for their abortions.
Sister Helen and Sister Barbara, I am 99.9999% sure that your new staff member, Maria Bains, is an escort at Planned Parenthood. I have provided a few photos as evidence. I watched her carefully yesterday at the 50th Anniversary celebration and not only does Ms. Bains look exactly like the escort, but has the same scarf, glasses, and exactly the same mannerisms, voice, etc.
In an attempt to confirm her identity, I tried to introduce myself to her during the reception and she abruptly turned away, but I persisted and she finally slowed and spoke to me. She looked me right in the eye and showed absolutely no sign of recognition. I told her she looked very familiar and that I spend a lot of time at "29th and B" (the location of Sacramento Planned Parenthood), but again there was no indication of her awareness or association. I did not mention abortion or Planned Parenthood, but kept the interaction casual and polite.
I bring this very serious concern to your attention because as the theater teacher, she will have extensive unsupervised access to our young women at Loretto and I must speak up or they are put at risk due to her abortion-promoting presence. I know I take a risk in mentioning this to you, in case I am completely in error on her identity, but I wouldn't bring it to your attention, if I wasn't so convinced. My conscience will not let me ignore the information. There are other Christians who also minister at the sidewalk, who could be asked to confirm her identification if you need further proof. Coincidently, I have not seen this escort at the clinic for several weeks, which would coincide with her new employment responsibilities.
I realize this will be very unsettling news for you, but I trust that you will carefully examine the evidence. I realize too there is a possibility that I am in error and the connection is purely coincidental similarity. If after careful review, that is the case, I sincerely apologize in advance. Whatever the outcome, could you please get back to me as to your investigation, decision, and action on this matter? If the identification is verified, clearly, this individual cannot be a part of the Loretto staff while also serving as an escort at Planned Parenthood. Thank you very much for your attention to this concern.
